OpenAI Assistant Configuration

Thread-Based AI: Each conversation maintains its own OpenAI thread with persistent memory. The AI Assistant is configured with structured JSON responses for enhanced conversation analysis.

Assistant Status

Creates a new Assistant or updates existing one with enhanced JSON response format

Requirements:

OpenAI API Key must be configured in database
Assistant will be configured for structured JSON responses
Each conversation gets its own persistent thread
Enhanced analysis: customer attitude, urgency, resolution status

Response Delay (seconds) Delay before AI responds to appear more natural (0-300 seconds)

How AI Assignment Works

Manual Mode: Assign conversations to the AI agent manually in the inbox
Auto Mode: New unassigned conversations are automatically assigned to AI
AI Only Responds: When conversation is assigned to the AI agent
Agent Takeover: Human agents can take over by reassigning the conversation

Advanced AI Settings

Max Response Length Maximum characters for AI responses (50-2000)

Temperature AI creativity level (0.0 = focused, 2.0 = creative)

Include conversation history Include previous messages for context

Log AI responses Keep logs of AI responses for debugging
